This weekend the Hudgins team was back at it sprinting around King County to great events and even better conversations with voters!
On Saturday, the team made it out to 8 DIFFERENT EVENTS including the Mercer Island Grand Parade (where rumor has it that a campaign flyer made it into the hands of Mariners 3rd Basemen Kyle Seager), Redmond Derby Days, the Coalition of Immigrants, Refugees & Communities of Color Candidate Forum and Dragonfest in the International District.
Peppered in between these larger events was the continuation of our "Coffee In Your Community" campaign where the best conversation of the day went to a voter we met named Neil.
Neil shared many of the same concerns about low voter turnout and ballot security that we regularly hear but he came with the toughest questions, the most laughs and insisted that I stay honest on the campaign trail. I'll do my best for you, Neil!
On Sunday, we continued our efforts around the county with more coffee, great weather at the Kent Cornucopia Days Parade and a fun time visiting with supporters at the West Seattle Summerfest!
And of course you can always join us to volunteer here on the website any time!
